Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping Conference – Coquitlam

Christian Service Brigade | Canada helped with the Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping Conference held in Coquitlam, BC on April 8th. There were sixteen different Equipping seminars that were developed specifically for ministering to men.

Dr. Tom Blackaby was the opening keynote speaker.  He is the founder and President Emeritus of Blackaby Ministries International and the author of Experiencing God: Knowing and doing the will of God, a book that has sold over 7 million copies.

Mark Washington was the closing keynote speaker as a talented and gifted Defensive Coach of the BC Lions.  Mark has a powerful message and testimony to help others understand the power of walking with Christ in a meaningful journey.

With the men bustling about the seminar, going to and from their selection out of the sixteen seminars, we saw godly men helping to uplift and inspire those in attendance. One never truly knows the impact an Equipping Conference can have on each man. But we do know that through the power of Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit, that men are moved in to deeper relationships with Christ as they continue along in their own discipleship journey.
